Long lost love. The text becomes visible by the absence of the material, they are burned into it with a laser.
This concept is connected to the meaning of the poems. The drawings are three-dimensional. When all the pages are together the book has a architectural feeling because of the space created by drawings. When reading, the lose pages become unmanageable also connecting to feeling I am expressing in the poems. You can take the book apart and even have the drawings a lose objects. Allowing text to be an art object. Throughout the poems a story is being told and ended.
Difficult to translate as many of the dutch words have two meanings and can therefore be multi interpretable.
